The award winning Tacky Dry Fly Box was designed with hackle and tails in mind. Most boxes smash any hackle when anchoring a fly, but with Tacky patent pending 3D mat design that’s no longer an issue.

The box features a unique, patent-pending silicone rubber mat specially designed for dry flies. The cutouts have been constructed to provide enough space for hackle and downward-facing tails of dry fly patterns. Like with other Tacky boxes, these inserts have extreme hold and will anchor the flies tightly.

The special silicone rubber can withstand extreme temperatures and is made in vibrant, light blue color for high contrast which makes flies easy to spot. The casing is super light and thin, with modern, sleek lines, constructed from extremely durable poly-carbonate. Same poly-carbonate is used for making lenses of most sunglasses as it is extremely durable and shatter resistant. The clear lid provides visible access to flies. The smooth magnetic closure with no latch gives this box incredible, long lasting strength. It has a double-sided lanyard hook system and new, hinge stop.

Tacky Dry Fly Box has the following dimensions: 17.8 x 8.8 x 2.8 cm (7″ x 3.5″ x 1.125“) and holds about 199 dry flies.
