I guess that I want to call it a 4.5, but only because it wish it was 75 or a 100 meters long, not just 50. Nevertheless, I just finished my first test spool of 100 D and loved it. It twist tight and strong, or unwinds to very flat. When unwound, the split thread method of dubbing, etc., works well.

Like all GSPs, it is super slick, and will cut bucktail, etc., so look for larger then 100D for bucktail and similar use.

When it is back in stock, it will be worth getting. Just get more then one spool at a time. 👍

This is a great product. I have always struggled with tying
smaller flies on my line. The Magnifly Fly Fishing Clip will be a great addition when i am out on the water. Cant wait to use this product.

I’ve been tying and using these Hoppers in front of a #18 Black Ant dropper for over four years now in alpine lakes and they’ve been so successful many times it’s the only fly combo I tie on all day. Easy to see on the water, very durable and an effective Hopper for me.

For those of us with "heavy hands" the spring reduces broken and slipped hackle. The longer spring actually provides more protection, even if it does take more room. I really like this.

These mayflies float high and all the way through a drift. Caught rainbows and browns with them on a recent September trip in central Ohio.

I recently used the Blue Winged Olive on a northern Georgia trout stream and caught so many fish that there was nothing left of the fly. The fish were killing themselves trying to eat it

Realistic! They sink well and the eyelets were clean. So far only panfish but that ain’t the flys fault.

Very well made. The perdigon gets down fast to where the trout are.
