Stonfo Elite Disc-Drag Bobbin Compact is a top quality weighted stainless steel bobbin with a special disc-drag design that enables easy and quick adjustments and allows perfect thread tension control. This is the small, compact model of the Stonfo Elite Bobbin series, designed for close work, when you have to use more bobbins together, or when there is limited room around the fly axis. It provides smooth winding of the hackles on the hook. The bobbin has been weighted to enable hands-free and easy thread winding. The tube has a special hardened steel bush, perfectly designed to allow smooth thread sliding without breaking or fraying. The sliding cone enables the spool holder stem to be suitable for a wide range of spool sizes, making this bobbin super-versatile. Switching spools is easy. There are two additional Stonfo Elite Bobbin designs:

  1. The Stonfo Elite Disc-Drag Bobbin model (red) is a standard size, suited for most thread types.
  2. The Stonfo Elite Disc-Drag Bobbin Saltwater Streamer model (blue) is larger in size, with a wider tube and suited for heavier, larger diameter, voluminous threads, micro-chenille, yarn, floss, etc.
