High N Dry Powdered Fly Floatant & Desiccant
This awesome, innovative High N Dry product is a special combination of a powdered floatant and desiccant particles. The desiccant particles absorb water from your fly, drying it, while powdered floatant gives the fly water-repelling properties. Perfect to use with waterlogged or fish-slimed flies that need to be revived, or to extend the life of your fly. Designed for those fly fishers that prefer a 'shake and dry' floatant from the onset, but also great for reviving that drowned fly out on the water. Should be used prior to the reapplication of HnD's Gel, Liquid, or Liquid Spray Floatants. This is an environmentally friendly product, non-toxic, non-flammable, and contains no organic solvents.
The desiccant particles in this product are finer, smaller in size, making this product more effective in drying your fly. In addition, these smaller particles do not attach to the fly material, eliminating the risk of adding weight to the fly. As all desiccants have a shelf life, HnD has included a special pressure-sealed lid to prevent moisture from being absorbed into the desiccant prior to purchase. This amazing product also contains blue indicator crystals. These crystals will turn red when the desiccant component has absorbed its maximum moisture and will no longer dry your flies.
To apply, dip your fly into the container, gently close the lid, give it a few shakes, open the lid, pull the fly out, and you have a dry fly that's completely covered in HnD powdered floatant. You can shake off the excess or simply blow it off, and you have your fly ready to cast.
The powdered floatant is delivered in a High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) bottle with a flip top cap, allowing the fly fisher minimum distraction when applying. The wide opening allows even the largest bugs to be dropped into the container. A full 30 grams of pure desiccant and floatant is provided in a 2.5 oz. container.
