This large arbor, full-frame reel is made from a single block of 6061 aerospace aluminum. It has an innovative and modern, multi-disc carbon drag system, which provides maximum drag power with ultra-smooth starting friction. You get maximum drag power with ultra-smooth starting friction. ARCTIC 7 reel has a full-frame design, so no line can escape from the spool during fishing. How to change the retrieve direction on your Alfa ARCTIC fly reel
- Remove the spool from the reel frame. Be careful not to drop or damage the spool.
- Carefully open the drag house by turning the cap and holding a washer firmly.
- Turn the needle bearing the other way and place it back into the drag housing. Make sure you align the bearing with all drag disks.
- Tighten the drag cap. The washer should reach the seal ring.
- Place the spool back onto the frame and tighten a spool cap.
How to care for your reels
- Avoid getting dirt or sand on your reel
- Always store your reel clean and dry
- Rinse the reel and spool carefully after saltwater fishing and dry throughout
- Do not use any cleaning agents to clean and polish the reel surface
Alfa Fishing Products Warranty
Each Alfa product is carefully inspected to assure product consistency and quality. Alfa Fishing Products LTD grants a warranty of 12 months for the spool, frame, and drag system of reels against manufacturing and material defects. The warranty period begins from the purchase date of the reel. A receipt is required as proof of warranty. The Alfa warranty does not cover any damage caused by misuse of the product or natural wear of the components. Please note that opening the drag system will void the warranty. If some problems occur with the drag system, please contact Alfa Fishing Products immediately for repair.
