Ingredients – 1st Variation
- Hook: Allen Fly Fishing S402BL, Sizes 12-18, a great choice would also be Maruto d21 Hooks
- Bead: 2 mm Tungsten bead in Gold
- Thread: 8/0 UNI, Olive Dun, or try Hemingway’s 8/0 Thread in Gray Olive
- Tail: Hemingway’s Realistic Mayfly Nymph Rubber Tail
- Body: Pheasant Tail Fibers
- Ribbing: UNI, French Gold, Small, or a Hemingway’s Fine Wire 0.2mm in Champagne
- Thorax: Hemingway’s Peacock Dubbing in Reddish
- Hackle: Clearwater JV Hen, Hungarian Partridge, or Soldarini Partridge Feathers in Olive
