Realistic Soft Stonefly Nymph Legs
Hemingway's Realistic Soft Stonefly Nymph Legs are durable and lively in the water, as they are made out of soft silicone rubber. They are excellent imitations of natural insect legs. Use together with Stonefly Wing Buds and Back and create realistic stonefly nymphs that fish love to bite. They come in 10 pieces per pack to tie 10 flies, with a choice of three sizes and 5 colors: Clear Yellow, Honey, Golden Yellow, Brown, and Black. Large size is suitable for hooks #6, Medium is good for hooks #8, and Small for hooks #10. Longer shank hooks are recommended.

How to Fish Stonefly Nymphs
The main technique when stonefly nymph fishing is to try to imitate the natural behavioral drifting of real insects down the bottom of the stream and keep the fly at the trout's eye level. Drag-free, dead drifting along the bottom is the best option. Start with an upstream short cast to allow the fly to drop to the bottom, then dead drift down the current until it starts lifting up to the surface. Extending the drift downstream as long as possible would pay off. Using a strike indicator is recommended as it can greatly help in identifying the action.
