High N Dry Powdered Fly Floatant with Applicator Brush
High N Dry's amazing Powdered Fly Floatant delivers a very fine and even coating of water-repelling particles to the dry fly. The coating is so fine that it is almost invisible! The floatant also helps trap air and improve buoyancy, so it is great for both dry flies and nymphs. High N Dry's advanced formula utilizes nanoparticle technology in conjunction with hydrophobic (water-hating) chemistry for unrivaled waterproofing performance. Perfect product when a precise application is needed, when you want to apply the floatant to only specific areas of the fly.
This powdered fly floatant is formulated not to clump up and overload the applicator brush with excess powder. This is a common problem that occurs with other powder floatants available in the market. The dosage to the applicator brush tip is precise. Also, you should have no worries about applying powder to your dry fly or nymph on windy days. It is non-flammable, contains no organic solvents, is 100% solids, and is an environmentally friendly product!
To apply, use the applicator brush to work the powder into the fly material. As needed, blow off the excess powder. If you want to give a fly a more natural float, avoid applying the powder floatant to the hook/shank area.
Contained in a sturdy 1 oz. HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) bottle with a special applicator brush that allows pinpoint application of the floatant. A full 1.8 grams of pure floatant is provided.
