Another great fly tying video tutorial from Epic Outdoor Adventures, now it is a Griffith’s Gnat pattern. This is a classic dry fly pattern, super-effective and a sure must-have in every fly box. It is a very simple tie, steps are easy to follow – give it a try!
Ingredients
To tie Epic’s Griffith’s Gnat, you need the following:
- Hook: Dry Fly Hemingway’s H123, size #16
- Thread: Hemingway’s 8/0 in Black
- Hackle: grizzly hackle
- Body: Peacock herl
- a bit of Head Cement
