Veevus Thread 6/0
Veevus thread 6/0 is a premium quality thread, thin in diameter and lightweight, but extremely strong – its breaking point is above 1kg! This is a fine thread, unwaxed, made of two strands twisted together like a rope. The thread untwists and splits easily for dubbing loops – see the video demonstration below. It will lay on the hook quite flat, thus minimizing bulk and providing a smoother finish. It can also be easily corded up to provide extra strength. Veevus 6/0 doesn’t bulk or fray and is super easy to work with. This thread has the right amount of stretch and is spooled evenly providing the perfect tension, effortless whip finishing, and smoother tying. This would be the best choice of thread for larger-size hooks, or where you need extra hold and grip without buildup.
How Veevus thread 6/0 compares to similar threads in terms of its breaking point:
- UNI 6/0: around 900g
- Danville 6/0: around 450g
- VEEVUS 6/0: above 1kg!
