Veevus Monofil Thread
Veevus Monofil Thread (monofilament thread, mono tread) is a premium quality, translucent material, excellent for tying shrimp, scud and streamer patterns, as well as a ribbing material for creating segmented bodies. It is a single, continuous strand (filament) of synthetic, monofilament fiber. Veevus Monofil Thread is a superfine, thin and supple thread, very easy to work with. The thread is also extra strong and durable with great holding power making it a perfect choice for tying saltwater patterns, predator flies and when tying flies that require heavier pressure. Due to its see-through material, it is ideal for patterns which require a translucent appearance – where you want the under-material and all the details to show through. Makes great translucent heads for streamer patterns. When coated with epoxy resin, the thread blends in completely, disappearing. When used for ribbing, it will take on the color of the body underneath.
Veevus Monofil Thread comes in Black and Clear and thicknesses – 0.10mm and 0.20mm.
100m per spool.
