Hydropsyche Soldarini TOURNAMENT Rod is Soldarini’s high-end competition-level rod. Made with premium-quality materials, this is your top-performance, superior fly fishing rod, designed for the most demanding angler. It comes in a 2/3 line weight power and is a moderately fast action rod, perfectly balanced.

Innovative materials – the special resins, nanotechnology, and the new 45-degree carbon make this rod super-reactive, and extremely sturdy with a very light shaft. Thanks to the use of the new carbon at 45 degrees, the blank does not undergo torsions, improving the fishing action, and guaranteeing maximum performance during the casting phase. Soldarini TOURNAMENT Rod is equipped with the best components on the market such as Titanium Recoil guides, high-quality flor-grade cork, Seaguide double-deck stripping guides, which in addition to being lighter, significantly improve cast performance. It is equipped with an up-locking, ultralight reel seat in black bar stock 6061 aluminum with a woven carbon insert. The stripper guide is located at a distance of 10” from the handle, which avoids the creation of a slack line, especially when Euro nymphing. This 4-piece rod is delivered inside a compartmentalized, triangular rod tube. There are two lengths available: 10′ and 10’6”.

10′ (305 cm) model, 2/3 line weight:

10’6” (320 cm) model, 2/3 line weight:
Specifically designed for European nymph fishing, the “European style” nymph rod.  Slightly longer, creates extra reach, the length of 10’6″ provides maximum control and sensitivity during the drift, weights 81 gr

Soldarini Fly Tackle does not cover any damage resulting from neglect, normal wear, and tear, the misuse of their product, or loss of parts.
