Marabou is a very popular material and probably the most useful natural material available to fly tiers, creating super productive flies. Used in all styles, from saltwater through to still water, for almost any species of fish. Their mobility is legendary. Marabou feathers are soft and pulsating life-like material, when underwater their action is incredible. Fly tied with marabou feathers will ‘move’ and pulse in water at all times. Marabou is a very popular material when it comes to tying lures and streamers.

Marabou standard feathers are hand-selected. Approximately 5-7” long. Great for collars on spey and predator flies, tails on streamer patterns. These are the longest feathers available with long barbs and a heavy stem.

To make tying with marabou easier, wet your fingers, to make marabou feathers together in one place. Dry fluffy marabou feathers are harder to work with.

Each bag contains a minimum of 6 hand-selected feathers.
