Hemingway’s Beaver Dubbing Plus is a unique blend of high-quality beaver underfur fibers and a touch of super-fine trilobal-shaped Antron fiber. Beaver fur has been known to have natural water-repellent qualities making this dubbing highly floatable. Since beaver fur fibers don’t soak up water and are very light and soft, it has been recognized as one of the finest furs for dry fly tying.  This is a fine-textured dubbing, excellent for tapering, for smooth-bodied flies, for small fly patterns, Catskill-style mayfly patterns, etc.
