Corey Cabral's Mayfly Clinger Nymph

Fly Tying with Corey: Mayfly Clinger Nymph

Another great recipe coming from Corey Cabral – Mayfly Clinger Nymph. Very cool pattern that imitates the mayfly clinger nymph. A cross between a super realistic patterns and an imitative style, incorporating Hemingway’s realistic tying parts to achieve the authentic looks and get better effectiveness. You are getting the same profile, size, shape and proportions as the nymph you are trying to imitate. It has the needed movement with the legs, hare’s ear dubbing and the tails. You can vary the colors and sizes depending on the insect life in your area. They are pretty quick to tie and very neat looking nymphs.

Ingredients:

Hemingways Realistic Mayfly Nymph Wing Buds Back 2 - FrostyFly
Hemingway’s Realistic Mayfly Nymph Buds & Back
