In this fly tying tutorial, Corey shows us how to tie his Glitter Yarn Leech – a simple pattern, yet quite effective. A great choice for a variety of fish species. This pattern has won Corey a biggest fish prize at the recent 2015 Ontario Fly Fishing Championship. Try it yourself.
Ingredients
- Hook: Maruto, Size 10, Streamer/Nymph
- Bead: 1/8’’ (3 mm) Tungsten
- Tail: Black Marabou
- Body: Black Eyelash/Glitter Yarn
- Head: Hemingway’s Starlite Dubbing in Lime
