- Hook: scud hooks sizes #12 – #18, Jim used Maruto c46 Shrimp & Caddis Fly Hooks in size #14
- Bead: 2mm Silver
- Resin: Diamond Fine
- Thread: Dark Brown
- Tail: Wood Duck Flank
- Rib: Pearl Krystal Flash
- Body: Dark Brown Thread
- Wingcase: Scud Skin
- Thorax: Beaver dubbing, we recommend Hemingway’s Beaver Dubbing
- Legs: Wood Duck Flank
