To tie Jim Misiura’s Jock Scott Fly, you need the following:

  • Hook: Salmon #1 – #12, Jim used Maruto Salmon/Steelhead Wet Fly Hooks m30, size #6
  • Thread: Black colored
  • Tail: Golden Pheasant Crest
  • Body: 1/3 Yellow Floss 2/3 Black Floss
  • Rib: Flat Silver Tinsel
  • Throat: Guinea Bird
  • Wing: Dark Brown Deer Hair
  • Overwing: Peacock Sword
  • Cheek: Junglecock
