Fly Tying with Corey: Cove’s Style Pheasant Tail Nymph

The next QEE fly tying tutorial: Corey demonstrates how to tie the Cove’s Style Pheasant Tail Nymph pattern.
This pattern is based on a recipe from the book Tactical Fly Fishing by Jeremy Lucas, pattern originally created by Arthur Cove. This is a simple, quick-to-tie version of this fly. Very effective on both, still waters and streams, it imitates a range of insect species and can be tied with our without a tail, using different colors of materials or different sizes to match up the insects in your waters.
