I think this German designed and manufactured reel is an outstanding value for price. High quality machining, good looking design, and really innovative drag. It has instantly become one of my working reels, meaning I plan to use it a lot.
Caught lots of small to medium striped bass, on this fly in the Baie de Chaleur Quebec. Incredible how it holds up, 25+ fish and it still looks like new. Great fly!
I love these almost as much as the fish. I have had good to excellent results fishing high mountain lakes and streams with these. They would deserve a 5 but the legs need a little movement. I can't give a 4.5, so a 4 it is.
Great bodies, I’ve used these for 3 years now, tied with a parachute. They are very durable, 8-10 fish before the bodies are showing wear. Good flotation and very realistic. What more do you want! Very few refusals, they catch fish!
I used these as the bottom fly below an emerged pattern. Caught over a dozen fish on that rig, walking down the stream holes. Most of the hits were on the bottom nymph. I just brought more to restock my box. A proven winner!
